Most people love owning a hot tub. Almost nobody loves the upkeep. Test strips, guessing at chemicals, cloudy water the day guests arrive, and the drain you have been putting off since spring. Growing up, the hot tub was the best thing in our backyard and the thing nobody wanted to deal with. My mom kept it going around everything else she had on, and I mostly remember it as a running background task. The strips, the buckets in the garage, the drain that kept getting pushed to next weekend. It got used plenty. It just came with a job attached.
Later I worked in the pool industry, and something there never sat right with me. A pool gets treated as a serious piece of equipment, with someone whose actual job is looking after it. Hot tubs get treated as an accessory you figure out on your own. Which is backwards if you think about the actual chemistry, because a hot tub is a much smaller body of much hotter water with far more people in it. It swings faster than a pool does. It needs more attention, not less.
So that is what this is. Not a pool company that also does tubs. Just the tubs, done properly, so the thing in your backyard goes back to being the good part of your week.
