A single drain, clean and refill. Both visits included.
Best if you want it handled once, with no commitment.

A full drain, a plumbing purge, a deep clean and a fresh refill, then we come back once it is up to temperature and balance it properly. Two visits, one price.
Draining a hot tub properly means finding a pump, running a hose, scrubbing a shell you cannot comfortably reach into, and then rebalancing the water from zero. It takes most of a day. Around Guelph and Waterloo the water is hard enough that scale builds on heaters and jets between changes, so putting it off has a cost beyond cloudy water.
The rule of thumb is every three to four months. If you want to be exact, there is a formula: take your tub's volume in gallons, divide by three, then divide by the number of people using it on an average day. That gives you roughly how many days you can go between water changes. A 400 gallon tub used by two people daily works out to around 66 days.
Then, plainly: heavier use means more often, and a tub that sits unused still needs changing on schedule.
Biofilm builds up inside the plumbing, in the lines and jets where water sits between uses. A plain drain and wipe never reaches it, so the fresh water you just paid for gets seeded by whatever is still in the pipes. Before we drain, we run a purge through the jets to break that loose and flush it out with the old water. It is the difference between clean water and a clean system.
Before
AfterWe circulate a plumbing purge through the jets to lift biofilm out of the pipes.
We shut the tub off at its disconnect before a drop comes out, so the heater and pumps cannot run dry.
Our high-flow pump empties the tub in about an hour.
Shell, seats, footwell, waterline and cover. Your filters come out and leave with us for an overnight chemical soak.
We fill from your tap through a pre-filter, then bring the power back on so the heater starts working.
Your clean filters go back in, and we balance the water and get the sanitizer established now that the tub is at temperature.
A photo, your water readings and a checklist of everything we did land in your inbox.

$259 each
Three drains a year at $259 each, scheduled between April and October. Same service every time, both visits included, and we book the dates with you so you do not have to think about it.
Everything listed is included. No add-ons, no surprises. Swim spas and oversized tubs quoted separately.
We are on site for two to three hours on the first visit. Your tub fills and reheats after we leave, and most tubs are back to temperature within 24 hours depending on size and time of year. We come back once it is warm to balance the water and get the sanitizer going. That second visit is short, it is included in the price, and you do not need to be home for either one.
We bring our own pump, hoses and everything else needed. We fill from your outdoor tap, or an indoor tap in colder months, and run the fill through a pre-filter to keep minerals out of your fresh water.
Your filters come out on the first visit and leave with us for an overnight chemical soak. That is the deep clean a weekly rinse cannot reach, and it needs eight hours or more to work, which is why it happens between our two visits rather than in your driveway. We rinse them thoroughly before they go back in, since leftover cleaner is what causes foaming. If they are worn out we will tell you, and replacement is billed at cost.
You do not need to be home for either visit. We do need access to the tub, an outdoor tap, and the tub's power disconnect, which on most tubs is a box mounted outside within sight of it. If yours is somewhere else, tell us when you book and we will sort it out.
We schedule full drains between spring and late fall. Draining in sub-zero weather risks residual water freezing in the lines, and that damage is not covered under warranty. Through the winter we keep your water fresh with partial water changes instead, replacing it in stages so the tub is never sitting empty in the cold.
