CLOSING SEASONWe are booking closings now through mid October.
Running a well insulated tub through an Ontario winter costs roughly $30 to $60 a month. Closing it in the fall and reopening in spring costs more than that, and you lose your tub for five months, which is the part of the year a hot tub is best.
Closing makes sense for cottages, seasonal properties, tubs nobody is going to use, and homes sitting empty. If that is you, we will do it properly. If it is not, we will tell you, and we would rather keep your tub running.
Tired of dealing with it? That is what our water care plans are for. Winter is when hands off is worth the most.
Away for a few months? Our Away Rate is $99 a month for visits every two weeks, so the water stays safe and someone is watching for freeze problems.

Book the bundle in the fall and we hold your spring date.
Book the bundle in the fall and we hold your spring date. A $50 deposit locks it in, the closing is billed at service, and the balance is due when we open you in the spring.
Swim spas and oversized tubs quoted separately.
We run the blower for a minute with the cover on, while the tub still has power.
We shut the tub down at its disconnect before anything else happens.
Full drain with our high flow pump.
Removed, chemically cleaned, dried and bagged for you.
We loosen the unions at each pump and the heater and pull the drain plugs so nothing is left sitting in them.
Every jet, drain, union and fitting gets cleared with compressed air. This is the step that actually prevents freeze damage, and it is the one most often skipped.
Shell cleaned and dried completely, because anything left behind is what freezes.
Non toxic propylene glycol into the pumps and filter cavity as insurance against one missed line. Never automotive antifreeze.
Cover cleaned, conditioned and strapped down, and a tag left on the equipment panel.
Your opening includes two visits. Chemicals need warm water to work properly, so the water gets balanced once your tub is up to temperature rather than the moment it finishes filling.
Unions retightened, drain plugs replaced, valves back where they belong.
We clear the antifreeze from the shell and lines and drain the flush water.
Reinstalled, with a written note on their condition.
Filled through the filter well to avoid an air lock, which is what seizes a pump on startup.
Power on, heater and pumps confirmed running, and the tub starts warming.
Chemicals need warm water to dissolve properly and to read accurately, so we return once your tub is up to temperature to balance it and get it ready for you to use.
Need a full drain and deep clean instead? See drain, clean and refill
Your filters come out, get a full chemical clean, dry completely, and go back to you in a labelled bag with a written condition report, so you know before spring whether they need replacing rather than finding out in April. We reinstall them at your opening.
Book your closing by mid October.
Openings run from late April.
We stop closing tubs once the temperature drops consistently below freezing. The shell has to be completely dry before the cover goes on, and that is not possible in the cold. Openings start once nights are reliably above freezing, for the same reason we do not drain in winter.
Not everyone wants to wonder about their tub from somewhere warmer. We stop by, clear snow off the cover, check for damage or water getting into the shell, look for pests in the cabinet, and send you a photo report.
$89 a visit, or $249 for three across the winter.
Not a sideline to a repair or retail business.
You are not getting a rotating crew.
We are not here to sell you a new tub.
Tell us about your tub and we will get you booked in. Most enquiries get a reply the same day.
